Booze+Arrows | The Celery Cucumber Sipper
In Southern California, we never need an excuse to get together with friends and sip refreshing drinks. Cocktails can be a bit intimidating, but if you stick to simple ratios with fresh ingredients, you will not be disappointed. As the sun is shining later and the nights are becoming warmer, it is time to indulge in some Spring libations.
This Celery Cucumber Sipper is not only good on the eyes but even better on the lips. It is light, refreshing and jammed packed with flavor.
Celery Cucumber Sipper
(makes two drinks)
2 shots of your best Vodka
1 large sprig of celery leaves (plus extra for garnish)
6 slices of cucumber (plus extra for garnish)
2 slices of lime (yup, extra for garnish)
1/2 shot of freshly squeezed lime juice
Ginger Ale (purchase the good stuff!)
First, muddle the celery leaves, cucumber and lime slices in the shaker, until thoroughly pummeled.
Second, add Vodka, lime juice and ice and shake with all your strength. You can always add an extra shot or two!
Third, prepare your drinking devices with large cubes of ice and strain mixture in, topping them off with the Ginger Ale and your garnish.
You are now ready to drink, Cheers
